Due to the recent block out, most individuals that utilize the platform reported that they were denied access to their accounts. Some users even reported that although they gained access, they noticed a significant drop in their followers.
However, Instagram had quickly rectified the issue and reported that the frequent crashes were now completely fixed. But the damage has already been done with most of its business clients suffering substantial harm, even a significant loss of followers is bad for business.

In a statement, the Instagram PR team said, “We’ve instantly fixed this bug, which was preventing users from accessing their accounts in certain parts of the world and temporarily changing the number of followers for some users.
